In what is being called the largest deal of its kind, Oregon startup ClearEdge Power has inked a $500 million agreement to supply fuel cells to an Austrian renewable energy company.
Over the next eight years, ClearEdge will build 50 megawatts of fuel cells for Güssing Renewable Energy, which will install them in homes and businesses as part of systems that also include biogas to run the fuel cells and energy storage.

In what is being termed as one of the largest ever deals in the stationary fuel cell industry, Oregon-based start-up ClearEdge Power has just signed a US$500m agreement to provide 50 megawatts (MW) of clean energy generation from fuel cells to Güssing Renewable Energy GmbH in Austria.
