ClearEdge Power Appoints IT Industry Veteran to Board of Directors

David B. Wright Brings Decades of Enterprise Technology Expertise to His Role Helping Change the Way Businesses Power Operations

HILLSBORO, Ore. –  ClearEdge Power, a manufacturer of scalable, continuous onsite power systems, today announced the appointment of David B. Wright, a distinguished veteran in the technology industry, to its board of directors. In this position, Wright will play a critical role in driving adoption of ClearEdge Power’s distributed energy generation solutions in businesses and data centers throughout the world.

Wright has more than three decades of experience leading technology and data storage companies. Currently, Wright serves as executive vice chairman of GridIron Systems, the Big Data acceleration company that improves data center performance. Before GridIron Systems, Wright served as chairman and chief executive officer for Verari Systems Inc., a developer of platform-independent blade servers and storage systems. Wright has also held executive leadership positions at EMC Corporation, Legato Systems Inc., and Amdahl Corporation. Wright also serves on the board of directors of Verisk Analytics, Geeknet, Inc. and Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
